BeachSide
Apartments - Conditions of Booking
Bookings
1. All reservations and contracts are accepted on the basis that the
client accepts the park rules and current booking conditions whether
they have read them or not.
2. To ensure that the accommodation you want will be available, please
make your booking as soon as possible.
3. We are happy to reserve particular accommodation but there may
be exceptional circumstances when that accommodation is not available
in which case we reserve the right to provide equivalent alternative
accommodation.
4. Provisional bookings by telephone, fax or email are accepted
but must be confirmed within seven days.
5. A booking is confirmed upon receipt of your completed 'booking
form' and a minimum deposit of 25% of the total cost of your holiday.
You will be sent a 'confirmation of booking' by return post.
6. The remaining balance must be received at least six weeks before
the start of your holiday, otherwise we may give your booking to someone
else, in which case you will receive a refund of any deposit paid
(less £35.25* administration charge).
7. In exceptional circumstances, when a firm telephone booking is
made less than five working days before the start of your holiday,
you will be sent a 'confirmation of booking' by first-class mail to
confirm your booking and the total cost of your holiday will be payable
on your arrival.
8. Units may only be occupied over night by those listed on the booking
form. Permission for extra people must be obtained from reception in
advance. When extra persons are accepted a charge of £4.50* per
person per night will be made.
Cancellations
9. Once a booking is made
the following cancellation charges apply. For this reason we cannot
emphasise too strongly the need to take out Holiday
Insurance, to protect you from financial loss in case you book a holiday
which you are unable to take.
i) If the holiday is cancelled the deposit is forfeit.
ii) Once we have received written confirmation of cancellation we
shall use our best endeavours to re-let the accommodation. If we are
able to re-let, the balance outstanding is waived.
iii) If we are not able to re-let the accommodation the client is
liable to pay the full balance. Here are brief details of the Holiday insurance
arranged through Philip Williams, and are subject to the terms of the
policy:- Emergency travel expenses, personal money,
accident, baggage and liability. Cancellation, curtailment and rearrangement.
Full details will be sent with your booking confirmation and are
also available on request.
